Competition Commission of India inviting applications for engagement of Young Professionals (YPs)

The Competition Commission of India, New Delhi is inviting applications from eligible candidates for engagement of Young Professionals (YPs) on contract basis, to be posted at Delhi/Mumbai/Chennai.

The selected YPs shall be posted in the following fields:

Young Professionals are initially required for a period of one year, which can be further extended as per requirements. They will assist the Commission in the discharge of its functions under the Competition Act, 2002 and undertake such work/tasks as may be assigned to them from time to time.

The applicants should be dynamic and self-motivated professionals with effective analytical, communication (including technical writing) and interpersonal skills. The details of the eligibility criteria, and other terms and conditions of engagement are as per Notification attached.

Remuneration: The remuneration of YPs shall be based on their grade as under:

Category Preferred Experience in year Lump sum monthly Remuneration Age Limit
YPs Grade-1 Up to 3 Years 60,000/- with 10 percent increase on completion of each year up to 30 Years

The grade of the YPs will be determined not only on the basis of experience and educational qualifications but also on the basis of the overall performance of the candidate during his/her interview. The Commission reserves the rights related to the engagement of YPs.

For other terms and conditions of engagement of YPs, the guidelines contained in the Competition Commission of India (Procedure for Engagement of Experts and Professionals) Regulations, 2009 as amended from time to time, shall be applicable, and the decision of the Commission in all such matters will be final and binding.

The last date for receipt of online application in CCI is 01.12.2025 (1730 Hrs).
