Ministry of Corporate Affairs have amended the Companies (Incorporation) Rules, 2014 vide notification F. No. 01/13/2013 CL-V(Part-i) dated 1^st May, 2015.

The Summary of rule-wise amendment made is as under:

Rule	Changes
5	Rule omitted, replaced by new rule 7A
7(1)	For Conversion into One Person Company, Private Company shall have to satisfy conditions of both paid up share capital and the turnover.
7A	Penalty for OPC/Officers for Contravening these rules has been reduced to half
8(2)(b)(xi)	Undesirable Names Names of Companies struck off under section 560 of the Companies Act, 1956 shall also be not allowed till 20 years
