EPFO Notice inviting applications for empanelment of advocates for Mumbai II, Thane Zone, for the block year 2025-27

Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) proposes to engage panel counsels for block year 2025-27 to represent the Central Board, EPF before different judicial fora, i.e. Bombay High Court, CGIT, Mumbai, CAT, Mumbai, NCLT Mumbai, SCDRC Maharashtra, Mumbai, District Consumer Forum, District and Lower Courts.

The practicing advocates who are registered with Bar Council of India/State Bar Council are eligible for empanelment. The qualification, experience, schedule of fee, other terms and conditions and the application format has been prescribed and detailed in the notice.

The advocates who are on the existing panel of EPFO shall cease to be on the panel after the new panel is finalised. Therefore, the existing panel advocates may also apply. Applications by the new advocates should be made in the format Annexure-A and the existing panel advocates should made application in format as per Annexure-B.

The sealed envelope should be sent to the following address:

The envelope should be subscribed as under:

“Application for Empanelment of Advocates of High Court, CGIT I & II, CAT, NCLT, SCDRC, DCDRF, District Courts and Lower Courts” (Strike off which is not applicable)

The last date for receiving the application is 15th November 2024 till 16:00 hours. The scanned copay of the application along-with all required annexures and documents may be sent to the following email id: acc.thane@epfindia.gov.in followed by postal submission.

Lawyers appointed by Department of Legal affairs are not engaged by EPFO as it may not exercise any control or coordination with advocates appointed by the Department of legal Affairs. Empanelment will only confer a right to be considered for legal work, if any, and not bind EPFO to award or give work to any Advocate, so empaneled, at any point of time during the term of engagement
