The Controller General Patents, Designs & Trade Marks has invited applications for hiring contractual manpower in the capacity of Consultant, Research Associate and Young Professional purely on Contract basis.The Controller General Patents, Designs & Trade Marks has invited applications for hiring contractual manpower in the capacity of Consultant, Research Associate and Young Professional purely on Contract basis.

Young Professional (IP Innovation Management & Research)/(Public Policy) 02

Young Professional (HR and Admin) 03

Young Professional (IT- AI, ML) 02

Young Professional (Economics & Data Management) 02

Young Professional (Media & Communication) 01

Young Professional (Finance) 02

The selected candidates will be posted at Indian Intellectual Property (IP) Office, New Delhi and may be required to visit Indian Intellectual Property (IP) Offices located at Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad and Nagpur as per requirement.

The period of engagement will be initially for a period of one year further extendable subject to satisfactory periodic performance evaluated on yearly basis. The hiring of the professionals is purely on contract basis and may be terminated at any time by the O/o CGPDTM without assigning any reason by giving 15 days’ notice or pay in lieu thereof and will not confer any right for regularization, absorption, permanency or continuation beyond the said date.

How to Apply: Candidates (Indian National Only) must apply online through the website http://www.ipindia.gov.in.  Applications received through any other mode would not be accepted and summarily rejected. 

Opening Date for Online Applications: 03rd February 2026.

Closing Date for Online Applications: 12th February 2026.   

The interview will be conducted at Office of Controller General of Patents, Designs and Trade Marks, Bouddhik Sampada Bhawan, Plot No. 32, Sector 14, Dwarka, New Delhi-110078. In case of any change in venue for interview, the same will be communicated accordingly.
