Nainital Bank invites application for empanelment of chartered account firms for concurrent audit of bank branches and departments for FY 2025-26

An application money (non refundable) is payable of Rs. 1000/- which has to be deposited as DD / PO / NEFT at the time of Application submission.

Last date for submission of Empanelment Application response (Closing date) is 28.02.2025 (by 17:00 Hours). Application shall send the Envelope through Courier / Registered Post / Speed Post at the following address:

The empanelment is for a period of five years. The applicant firm should be a Chartered Accountant Firm (Partnership Firm or Limited Liability Partnership), registered with ICAI. The Applicant should have a minimum financial turnover of INR 25 Lacs & above. Positive net worth for each year in the last three years financial year 2021-22, 2022-2023 and 2023-24. The applicant firm should have carried out Concurrent Audit of Branch of any scheduled commercial bank for at least -1- year during last five financial years. (Note: For the purpose of eligibility criteria compliance, ‘scheduled commercial banks’ in India excludes Regional Rural Banks, Co-operative Banks, Small Finance Banks & Payment Banks.). The applicant firm should have minimum of -1- CISA/ DISA qualified CA partners/ CA Qualified permanent staff as per ICAI certificate of Registration.

The Applicant must possess the requisite experience, strength and capabilities in providing the services necessary to meet the requirements, as described. The application must be complete in all respects and should cover the entire scope of work as stipulated in the proposal.

The Concurrent Auditor shall conduct Concurrent Audit of the branches/operating units allotted to them on an on-going basis. Concurrent Auditors should ensure that they are required to put in a minimum 12 man days in a month such that every single transaction voucher is audited within a period of one week of its occurrence (on a regular basis).

The auditor shall ensure compliance with audit coverage as per the checklist and timely submission of the audit reports within the defined timelines i.e. in 7 days. It is to be ensured that at least 2 to 4 unit visits per month in the eligible accounts should be done by the Concurrent Auditors and the reports of the same should be submitted to the CIAD during the submission of monthly audit reports. The Concurrent Auditors should conduct the audit in real time basis.
