To
All RPFCs (In charge of Regions/SROs)

Sub: – Establishments showing difference in membership registered with EPFO and ESIC regarding.

Sir,

Please refer to Head Office email dated 01/07/2016, 04/07/2016 as well instructions issued by the competent authority during E-Samiksha review. It was directed to ensure that all those employees registered with ESIC but not covered with EPFO must be brought under the coverage of EPFO as per due procedure.

However, as per the latest information available there are many such employees which are yet to be covered.

As you are aware that we are conducting a coverage and enrolment campaign to increase the membership. Hence,it is imperative that all available information must be utilized to cover maximum number of coverable employees.

Hence all the RPFCs/OICs are hereby advised to conduct meetings with the employers of all such establishments having employees not covered with EPFO but covered with ESIC to bring eligible employees under the coverage fold of EPFO during this coverage and enrolment month itself.

Yours faithfully

(S.C Goyal)
