Subject: Non Filing of Returns by Exempted establishments through Newly Launched Portal – Regarding.

Reference : Exem/10(20)2016/Vol. III dated 29.05.2017.

Sir,

Please refer to the subject cited above. The portal for online filing of returns by the exemtped establishments has been developed and launched on 27.05.2017 . Vide reference cited above, it was directed to ensure online filing of e-returns through the portal before 15.06.2017 by all the exempted establishments.

2. It has been observed that all the exempted establishments have not filed the prescribed returns till In this regard, it is directed that all the RPFC/Officer In­ charges of the field offices shall ensure due filing of prescribed returns by 25.07.2017. It is further directed that if any establishment is found not complying with the aforesaid due date, then such establishments should be immediately inspected. Subsequent to the inspection, necessary action for cancellation of exemption should be initiated against the defaulting establishments after giving an opportunity of hearing.
