ICAI allows extended / last opportunity to submit MEF for FY 2025-26 on 16.10.2025 and 17.10.2025

Earlier ICAI had extended last date to submit MEF for FY 2025-26 to 10th October, 2025. ICAI had recently hosted Multipurpose Empanelment Form  (MEF) of Chartered Accountants/firms for the year 2025-26 for which last date of submission was 26.09.2025

The (MEF) of Chartered Accountants/firms for the year 2025-26 has been hosted at www.meficai.org. Information provided through MEF is shared by ICAI with RBI, NABARD and other authorities for the purpose of empanelment for professional work.

Registration/ Login Credentials: 

• Applicant already registered for MEF in previous year/(s), may login using the credentials directly of previous year for MEF 2024-25.  If one has forgotten the password, please go to “Forgot Password” button to retrieve the password.

• Applicant applying for the first time, the applicant must first register for MEF 2025-26 at https://meficai.org/register .

Last date for submission of online Form is 26^th September 2025.

• Banks authorised to import only gold for FY 2025-26 from 01.04.2025 to 31.03.2026
• Under POCM, selling/Admin costs allowable despite no revenue declared – ITAT
• AO can’t use reverse computation using TDS amount for disallowance u/s 40(a)(ia)
• Once loans is repaid in subsequent years, addition u/s 68 cannot be made
