ICAI sets up two new branch offices in Southern India Regional Council (SIRC)
ICAI has issued notification setting up of two new branch offices in Southern India Regional Council w.e.f. 27.05.2025 as under:
1. Khammam Branch
The Khammam Branch shall be known as Khammam Branch of Southern India Regional Council and its Headquarters shall be Khammam city (Telangana).
The Jurisdiction of the Branch shall besides Khammam city, include the following cities/towns falling within a distance of 50 kms from the city limits of Khammam: –
1. Madira
2. Wyra
3. Satthpalli
As prescribed under sub-regulation (3) of Regulation 159, the Branch shall function subject to the control, supervision and direction of the Council through Southern India Regional Council and shall carry out such directions as may, from time to time, be issued by the Council
2. Nizamabad Branch
The Nizamabad Branch is set up in Southern India Regional Council in Nizamabad city (Telangana) with effect from May 27, 2025.
The Branch shall be known as Nizamabad Branch of Southern India Regional Council and its Headquarters shall be Nizamabad city (Telangana).
The Jurisdiction of the Branch shall besides Nizamabad city, include the following cities/towns falling within a distance of 50 kms from the city limits of Nizamabad: –
1. Armoor
2. Bodhan
As prescribed under sub-regulation (3) of Regulation 159, the Branch shall function subject to the control, supervision and direction of the Council through Southern India Regional Council and shall carry out such directions as may, from time to time, be issued by the Council.
Also, Hosapete has been detached from the Jurisdiction of Ballari Branch of SIRC of ICAI w.e.f. 27.05.2025
