CBDT has appointed 149 Assistant Commissioner of Income Tax (ACIT) to officiate as Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax (DCIT)

149 Assistant Commissioners of Income Tax (Junior Scale) have been appointed to officiate as Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax (Senior Time Scale) in Level 11 in the pay matrix Rs. 67700-208700/- with effect from different date. 

• Penalty u/s 271B for unfilled column 40 in Tax Audit Report Form 3CD deleted by ITAT
• Merely ex-parte rectifying computation without amending assessment order not make it nullity- ITAT
• Once assessee discharges primary onus, it shifts to AO to bring evidence to contrary – ITAT
