The facility to view tax and computation sheet for demand raised by AO has been made available to the assessee in the e-Filing portal.

Procedure:

After Login to incometaxindia efiling website , select e-File > Response to Outstanding Tax Demand

This will take you to demand window as under:

Click on download button next to demand amount to download the details pdf

Click  “OK” and file will be downloaded to your computer

In case of demand raised by CPC or raised manually outside the system, assessee needs to request for resend of intimation request or Jurisdictional Assessing Officer respectively.
