Distribution of portfolios of RBI Deputy Governors w.e.f. 04.05.2026 on assumption of charge by Shri Rohit Jain
Shri Rohit Jain has assumed charge as Deputy Governor of Reserve Bank of India on May 04, 2026 for a period of three years. He was an Executive Director of the Reserve Bank before being elevated to the post of Deputy Governor. The total number of Dy. Governors in RBI (including Shri Rohit Jain) is four.
Consequent on the appointment and assumption of charge by Shri Rohit Jain as Deputy Governor, the distribution of portfolios among the Deputy Governors with effect from May 4, 2026 will be the following:
