Opportunity to update email ID in eRegiter of Trade Mark Registry

Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs & Trade Marks has offered opportunity to update email ID in eRegiter of Trade Mark Registry(TMR) 

According to the Press Release issued in this regard, during the stakeholders meetings it was noticed that e-Register is still not having e-mail id details for many applications which is creating hurdles in timely communication from the registry to the stakeholders.

Therefore, it has been decided to provide additional opportunity to update e-mail id in respective application where email id column is blank.

Opportunity to update email ID in Trade Mark Registry

To update email id, applicants may submit their request to dhomane.tmr@gov.in containing following relevant information immediately but not later than 31.01.2020.

It is also required from the person making such request to submit a declaration that he is a applicant / authorised agent in the concerned application(s) and email id column of address of service be updated accordingly.

This facility is provided to update email id only for those application where e-mail id is blank. In case, there is e-mail id exists, respective application / agent may follow the prescribed procedure to update/change the same.
