Trade Marks Agent Examination 2023 & Patent Agent Examination 2023
The office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs & Trade Marks shall hold the Trade Marks Agent Examination 2023 and Patent Agent Examination 2023 on 6th – 7th May 2022 as per the following schedule –
Trade Marks Agent Examination 2023
1.Trade Marks Agent Examination 2023 is likely to be held on 06th May, 2023 (Saturday) at 9 locations namely, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai & Nagpur.
2. Candidates who are willing to appear in Trade Marks Agent Examination 2023 may check their eligibility as per the provision under Rule 144 of the Trade Marks Rules, 2017.
3. Candidates, who have already filled their Form TM-G and paid the requisite fees by offline mode, are required to register on the online portal and forward their Name, User ID, Applicant ID, CBR details and date of payment to the email -trademarkagtexam.tmr@gov.in. Please DO NOT make any further payments.
4. Trade Marks Agent Examination 2023 will be conducted in two sessions namely
Paper-I (objective type, two hours duration) &
Paper-II (descriptive type, three hours duration).
5. The qualifying marks for Trade Marks Agent Exam 2023 under the rule 148(2) of the Trademarks Rules, 2017 shall be the same as applicable for Patent Agent Examination 2023.

Patent Agent Examination 2023
1. Patent Agent Examination 2023 is likely to be held on 07th May, 2023 (Sunday) at 9 locations namely, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai & Nagpur.
2. Candidates who are willing to appear in the Patent Agent Examination 2023 may check their eligibility as per the provision under Section 126 of the Patents Act, 1970 (as amended).
3. Patent Agent Examination 2023 will be conducted in two sessions namely
Paper-I (objective type, two hours duration) &
Paper-II (descriptive type, three hours duration).
4. The qualifying marks for Patent Agent Examination 2023 shall be as prescribed under rule 110 of the Patent Rules, 2003 (as amended).
