Delhi Vat Returns filing due date extension 4th quarter 2016-17  for form DVAT-16 17 and DVAT-48 along with required annexures and/enclosures to 15/05/2017

The Department of Trade and Taxes, Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi has extended due date for filing of online return for 4th quarter under Delhi Value Added Tax to May 15th, 2017.

As per the relevant circular no. 2 of 2016-17 dated 28/04/2017 the extension is applicable to both the filing of online/hardcopy of fourth quarter return for the year 2016-17, in form DVAT-16, DVAT-17 and DVAT-48 along with required annexures and/enclosures to 15/05/2017.

However, the tax due shall continue to be paid in the usual manner as per the provisions of Section 3 (4) of the Delhi Value Added Tax, 2004. The dealers filing the returns through digital signature (DSC) need not be required to file hard copy of the return/Form DVAT-56.
