State Bank of India elects four Directors in its Central Board

State Bank of India in its General Meeting of the Shareholders elected four Directors to the Central Board.

The meeting was held in terms of Regulation 40(4) of the State Bank of India General Regulations, 1955. As the number of valid nominations was 7 against the 4 notified vacancies, election was carried out and votes were cast through remote e-voting.

After the scrutiniser appointed by the Board of the Bank submitted consolidated report on votes cast during remote e-voting and e-voting at the General Meeting, the following four candidates securing highest number of votes were declared elected as Directors to the Central Board of the Bank under Section 19(c) of the SBI Act, 1955, for a term of three years w.e.f. 26th June, 2026 to 25th June, 2029:
