Prime Ministers 10 Questions-My humble replies-suggestions to  on decision taken regarding banning currency notes of Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000

I appreciate the move by our Prime Minister in inviting their views on the subject. There can not be two opinion that black money must be put to rest. However, any citizen who is suffering due to badly managed scheme must submit his true opinion so that corrective actions if warranted, may be taken immediately. In my submissions, wherever, according there was not a suitable option to convey my complete suggestion/view, I have added option (c) or (d)-others

1. Do you think that black money exists in India? (a) Yes (b) No
Answer: (c)
In my opinion the black money exist primarily due to political patronage. It exists in Indian in abundance with political persons and/or political parties and people who are hand in glove with them. I hope any time from now I would hear that you have also introduced ban on political parties accepting donations in cash and brought them under RTI Act. Also make all political parties to make public their bank statements of last 3 months. In fact I appeal to TMC, AAP, SP, BSP, and Congress Party,  in particular to support the Government on this issue.

2. Do you think the evil of corruption and black money needs to be fought and eliminated?
a. Yes
b. No
Answer (c) Due to the badly implemented otherwise a welcome step, the whole idea seems to be founded on the assumption that poor people must be eliminated in order to eliminate evil of corruption. However, Evil of corruption do not breed on innocent poor people suffering and dying in queues struggling to get their hard earned money.

3. Overall, what do you think about the Government’s moves to tackle black money?
Answer-As reported in news channels, hundreds of people have died. Farmers appears to have been pushed to the verge of suicide. Ironically, no ameer aadmi  has been spotted in never ending queues.  It itself speak volumes of the move of the Government which so far has been proved adversarial to the poor only. The Government tackled the black money but forget to tackle poor.

4. What do you think of the Modi Government’s efforts against corruption so far?
Scale of 1 to 5 – outstanding, very good, good, ok, useless
Answer – Please add option – “adversarial to poor only

5. What do you think of the Modi Government’s move of banning old Rs 500 & Rs 1000 notes? a. Great move in the right direction b. Good move c. Will make no difference
Answer (c) It Will not make any difference as the Government is yet to explain the rationale of Rs. 2000/- bank note

6. Do you think demonetisation will help in curbing black money, corruption & terrorism? a. It will have an immediate impact b. There will be impact in medium to long term c. Minimal impact d. Don’t know
Answer-(c) Minimal impact because Unfortunately black money, corruptions and terrorism are the means of the powerful but so far only poor seems to have suffered miserably and irreparably .

7. Demonetisation will bring real estate, higher education, healthcare in the common man’s reach a. Completely Agree b. Partially Agree c. Can’t say
Answer-(d) Unfortunately the word “political system” is missing in the question

8. Did you mind the inconvenience faced in our fight to curb corruption, black money, terrorism and counterfeiting of currency? a. Not at all b. Somewhat, but it was worth it c. Yes
Answer: Please define the term inconvenience and its extent

9. Do you believe some anti-corruption activists are now actually fighting in support of black money, corruption & terrorism? a. Yes b. No
Answer-(c) Dear Prime Minister, please listen, see and realise the sufferings of the poor. All those who might differ with you and trying to say something are not anti-corruption activists.

10. Do you have any suggestions, ideas or insights you would like to share with PM Narendra Modi?

  • it is very true that the step taken is most effective to control the black money, but no home work has been done, the decision by R B I is being changed every day. we feel that the the officers of R B I and income tax department is treating as all the person of the country are dishonest, the deposit made before 9-11-2016, how can be banned. Unless and untill it is established that the deposit made before 9-11-2016,is illegal, it can not be banned. R B I has no power to impose ristriction on the deposit before 9-11-2016, because only legal tender has been deposited in the bank. It is totally illegal to ban the withdrawal of deposit made before 9-11-2016 for marriage purpose.
