Subject: Sanction of Death Relief Fund in All Cases of Death While In Service- Regarding.

Madam/ Sir,

Please refer to the circular no. Welfare/23rd Annual  Meeting/CSWC/2013/6846 dated 28.06.2013 on the subject cited above.

2. In this regard, I am directed to inform that the President, Central Staff Welfare Committee/Central P. F. Commissioner has decided on 21.09.2016 that the Death Relief fund will be given in all cases of death while in service at the rate applicable to cases of unnatural death. It will be effective prospectively for all such cases where sanction is accorded after 21.09.2016 irrespective of the date of death. Cases where sanction has already been accorded in the past will not be re-opened.
