33rd Meeting of GST Council due date extended for filing GSTR-3B by two days

33rd Meeting of the GST Council began today under the Chairmanship of the Union Minister of Finance & Corporate Affairs, Arun jaitley through video conferencing.

The council today decided to extend the deadline for filing GSTR-3B by two days. However, the lotteries were not discussed in today’s meeting.

Shri Arun Jaitley in a Press Briefing told that GST Council meeting has been adjourned till February 24. Now a physical meeting shall be held on Sunday, 24th Feb, 2019.

He told that some of the States wanted a meeting where members are physically present.

As per the Finance Minister, members wanted to have more discussions on the GST rate proposals for the real estate sector in which a decision might be taken in the next meeting.
