Facility to lodge Online GST grievance enabled on GST Portal

Facility to lodge Online GST grievance enabled on GST Portal.  Taxpayers have now being provided with a facility to lodge grievance related to processes (application), ledgers, payments etc. on the GST Portal.

The following type of complaints can be submitted online:

1. Complaint against grievance relating to processes (Application):

  • Migration/Transition
  • Refund
  • Registration and
  • Returns

2. Complaint against registered taxpayer, unregistered person or an entity:

3. Grievance against Ledgers/Registers:

  • Discrepancy in electronic cash register
  • Discrepancy in electronic credit ledger
  • Discrepancy in electronic liability register

4. Grievance against Payment (GST PMT 07)

  • Amount debited from bank account, cash ledger not updated
  • NeFT/RTGS related issues

5. Others

Details required to lodge an online complaint:

  • The following details of the Taxpayer(Person) who is reporting the grievance are required:

GSTIN / Other ID, Name and Address of Business, Email Address, Name of Complainant and Mobile Number

  • The following details of Taxpayer against whom grievance is being reported are required:

Name and Address of Business, Name of Individual

The Description of Grievance can be given in maximum 4000 characters and documents in support thereto can also be uploaded in PDF or JPEG format. Maximum file size for upload is 500 KB.
