GST-Two times deduction for same CPIN, but cash ledger credited with single entry

GST-Two times deduction for same CPIN, but cash ledger was credited with single entry only. Ask bank for refund as cash ledger can’t be updated twice

Question: Amount was deducted two times for the same CPIN, but cash ledger was credited with single entry only. What should I do in such cases?

Answer: GST Portal will update cash ledger on the basis of first information of CIN received from the bank/RBI. For same CPIN, csah ledger can’t be updated more than once. Please get in touch with connected bank for refund of other deducted amount, which was not credited in cash ledger
