GSTN Enrollment State wise status and revised Schedule
The Government has posted the data of GST enrolment in the Country. It can been seen that 27 out of 34 States could not touch the 50% mark for the GSTN enrollment. This gives rise to speculation that GST might be deferred to a future date not earlier than June 2017 or even Sep 2017 as against scheduled date of April, 2017.
