GSTN shut down for 6 hours on 2nd June 2018 due to Disaster Recovery Drill

Goods and Services Tax Network ( GSTN ) is all set for a major disaster recovery drill of GST System on Saturday, 2nd June 2018.

As a result, the users/taxpayers of the GST portal shall not be able to access it between 9 AM to 3 PM since the GST System services will not be available / go offline during this time.

“Major Disaster Recovery Drill scheduled for 2nd June 2018, between 9 AM to 3 PM. Kindly note that GST System services will not be available during this time”

This was tweeted by the Official twitter handle for IT related queries on GST

It is notable that tax payers, particularly in peak time have been facing difficulties owing to technical glitches on the GST portal. Even High Courts have ordered reopening of GST Portal for allowing filing of Form/Return which could not be filed/uploaded due to technical glitches.
