OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: Installation of Display Board asking people to contact CBI in case of any demand for bribe- reg.
The undersigned is directed to circulate a d.o. letter dated dated 05.09.2016 from the Director, CBI, thereby requesting that a message on !he following lines in Hindi/Local language and English in black colour on yellow background asking people to contact CBI in case of any demand for bribe, may be painted at prominent places:
“in case of demand of bribe, please contact CBI office at ……… (Telephone number of Branches may be indicated as per list enclosed)”
2. All the CCITs (CCA)/Pr. DGITs arc requested to ensure that such a display board is placed along with details of the concerned Anti-corruption Branch of the Central Bureau of investigation in each of !he offices under !heir jurisdiction within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of this communication. A compliance report indicating !he number of offices where such display boards have been installed may be submitted to the respective Zonal Member of’!he Board positively by 31.10.2016.
