UPVAT allows issue of manual printed Form-C for closed firms with turnover of more than Rs 25 lakhs

UPVAT allows issue of manual printed Form-C for closed firms with turnover of more than Rs  25 lakhs

In a recent circular issued by UPVAT, issuance of manual printed Form-C for closed firms with turnover of more than Rs  25 lakhs has been allowed. Manual printed Form-C shall be  issued for pre-closure central sales tax related operations

UP VAT Department has started the facility for online generating/downloading of Form-C  related to Central Sales Tax and other Forms. However due to non generation/downloading of online Form-C by the firms which have now ceased or closed,  the issue of manually printed form-C has become essential.

UP VAT department has directed all concerned officials to issue manually printed Form-C to closed firms related to dealers having turnover of more than Rs.  lakhs. The forms are to be manually issued to closed firms only as due to the closure, the Form-C can not be downloaded online.

The facility for issue of manually printed form-C is already in vogue for dealers with turnover of less than Rs  25 lakhs
