Aadhar made compulsory for EPS
A member or pensioner of the Employee Pension Scheme desirous of continuing the benefits of the EPS who is not yet enrolled for Aadhar is now required to make an application for Aadhar enrolment by 31st January 2017.

In continuation of Head office circular no. Penslon-1/17(1)2016/Jeevan Praman dated 28.11.2016, please find attached herewith a copy of Gazette Nolification No. S.O. 26 (E) dated 04.01.2017 witl1 regard to submission of Aadhar as identity document for information and necessary action.
It Is requested to give wide publidty through media and individual notices through concerned establishments for the members and pensioners of EPS, 1995 to make them aware or the requirement of Aadhar as identification. In case such members are not enrolled they may be advised 10 get themselves enrolled at the nearest enrolment centres availablein their block or Tehsll or Taluka by 31st January, 2017.
