  • Hi,
I have requested for the date of tax deduction to be corrected as I had given the same wrongly. Once I file the online form 26QB correction the status says pending for AO approval, do I need to personally go and meet the AO Office with the details or how will this approval needs to done .

Note: I do not have a DSC and the 26QB correction request has not gone to my seller also

    Thanks
    Pavan

  • For the first time, we submitted correction request for sellers PAN correction in 26 QB. We did it without using net banking or Digital Signature Certificate as we were not aware about it. It was gone for AO's approval and after some days, we saw the status as "rejected."
Now, we have to raise a new request for the same as previous one was rejected. If we raise it now, will it be the considered as first request(as previous one might not have completed the process cycle) or second time correction request? If it is a second time request, then as per the note on traces, it will always go to AO's approval. Is it correct? Please guide us, we are in some serious tricky situation.

  • after clicking everify using net banking -> logout of the current session in traces-> log in to your bank account -> click view 26 as -> click e verified services on top -> click on it to reach traces via it.
