ICAI bans four Chartered Accountants for professional misconduct

In terms of the provisions of Section 21B(3) of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949 read with Rule 18(17) of the Chartered Accountants (Procedure of Investigations of Professional and Other Misconduct and Conduct of Cases) Rules, 2007, the Disciplinary Committee has held CA Pawan Gupta (Membership No. 092170), 111, Sewak Bhawan, 16/2, W E A, Karol Bagh, NEW DELHI 110005 guilty of Professional Misconduct falling within the meaning of Items (5), (6), (7), (8) and (9) of Part I of Second Schedule to the aforesaid Act and consequently after affording an opportunity of being heard in terms of Rule 19(1) of the aforesaid Rules, ordered for removal of name of CA. Pawan Gupta (Membership No. 092170) from the Register of Members for a period of 01 (One) month. In pursuance of the aforesaid Order of the Disciplinary Committee and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 20 of the aforesaid Act, it is hereby notified under Regulation 18 of the Chartered Accountants Regulations 1988, that the name of CA. Pawan Gupta (Membership No. 092170), shall stand removed from the Register of Members for a period of 01 (One) month with effect from 28th June, 2024.

In terms of the provisions of Section 21B(3) of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949 read with Rule 18(17) of the Chartered Accountants (Procedure of Investigations of Professional and Other Misconduct and Conduct of Cases) Rules, 2007, the Disciplinary Committee has held CA. Anil Saxena (Membership No. 089136), S-22 Shakti Khand 2, Shoppers Indirapuram, GHAZIABAD 201014, guilty of Professional and Other Misconduct falling within the meaning of Item (2) of Part IV of the First Schedule and Item (7) of Part I of Second Schedule to the aforesaid Act and consequently after affording an opportunity of being heard in terms of Rule 19(1) of the aforesaid Rules, ordered for removal of name of CA Anil Saxena (Membership No. 089136) from the Register of Members for a period of 03(Three) months and also imposed a Fine of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) only to be paid within 60 days of receipt of the Order. In pursuance of the aforesaid Order of the Disciplinary Committee and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 20 of the aforesaid Act, it is hereby notified under Regulation 18 of the Chartered Accountants Regulations 1988, that the name of CA. Anil Saxena (Membership No. 089136), shall stand removed from the Register of Members for a period of 3(Three) months with effect from 28th June, 2024

In terms of the provisions of Section 21B(3) of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949 read with Rule 18(17) of the Chartered Accountants (Procedure of Investigations of Professional and Other Misconduct and Conduct of Cases) Rules, 2007, the Disciplinary Committee has held CA. Narinder Kumar (Membership No. 097974), House no. 872, 2nd Floor, Sector 7, Block C, FARIDABAD 121006, guilty of Professional and Other Misconduct falling within the meaning of Clauses (5), (6), (7) and (8) of Part I of Second Schedule and Clause (2) of Part IV of the First Schedule to the aforesaid Act and consequently after affording an opportunity of being heard in terms of Rule 19(1) of the aforesaid Rules, ordered for removal of name of CA. Narinder Kumar (Membership No. 097974) from the Register of Members for a period of 01(One) year. In pursuance of the aforesaid Order of the Disciplinary Committee and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 20 of the aforesaid Act, it is hereby notified under Regulation 18 of the Chartered Accountants Regulations 1988, that the name of CA. Narinder Kumar (Membership No. 097974), shall stand removed from the Register of Members for a period of 01(One) year with effect from 28th June, 2024

In terms of the provisions of Section 21B(3) of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949 read with Rule 18(17) of the Chartered Accountants (Procedure of Investigations of Professional and Other Misconduct and Conduct of Cases) Rules, 2007, the Disciplinary Committee has held CA. Radhakrishnan A R, (Membership No. 022921), B 1002 Sobha Anantha 7/3 Richmond Road, Shanthala Nagar, BENGALURU 560025, guilty of Professional Misconduct falling within the meaning of Item (7) of Part I of Second Schedule to the aforesaid Act and consequently after affording an opportunity of being heard in terms of Rule 19(1) of the aforesaid Rules, ordered for removal of name of CA. Radhakrishnan A R, (Membership No. 022921) from the Register of Members for a period of 02 (Two) months and also imposed a fine of Rs. 20,000/-(Rupees Twenty Thousand only) to be paid within 90 (Ninety) days and in case of default in payment of fine within stipulated time, his name be removed from the Register of Members for a further
period of 30 (Thirty) days. Since the Respondent has already paid the imposed fine within stipulated time, in pursuance of the aforesaid Order of the Disciplinary Committee and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 20 of the aforesaid Act, it is hereby notified under Regulation 18 of the Chartered Accountants Regulations 1988, that the name of CA. Radhakrishnan A R, (Membership No. 022921), shall stand removed from the Register of Members for a period of 02 (Two) months with effect from 28th June, 2024.
