FCRA new Helpdesk system launched by Home Ministry
A new FCRA) Helpdesk system has been launched. Under the new system one may submit his/her query / issues through three mediums as under:

The procedure for submitting query through Website is simple and as under:

On next screen fill details:
Under subject the following broad Categories are to be selected:
(i) Application for Registration or Renewal or Prior Permission or Hospitality
(ii) Documents required for Application
(iii) Fee or Penalty for FC Foreign Contribution or Annual Return
(iv) Modification of any Application
(v) Login related issue.
Note: Attachment is allowed for file type: PNG, JPG, JPEG, PDF and Maximum file size is 1 MB
- Expenses of ESOP are allowable as revenue expenditure u/s 37(1) of Income Tax Act.
- Compliance history of supplier can’t be used to invalidate genuine business transactions of buyer
- Reassessment quashed as AO issued notice u/s 148 instead of 153C as reopening was based on search
- Empanelment of CA/CMA /Legal firm for FEMA & other allied services at EPIL
- Individual contract for booking persons for participation in event not event management liable to service tax
