Indelible ink marks on exchange old bank notesÂ
As per media news, the Government in its latest directives has asked banks to use indelible ink while exchanging withdrawn/banned Rs. 500 and 1,000 notes to stop conversion of the black money. Also this is considered a move to discourage people from coming again and again to exchange old notes. Â
Hitherto the indelible ink are used in the process of casting of votes by marking the index finger of the voters casting a vote.
