ICAI re-Opens of Online Filling of Exam Application Form for November 2024 CA Exams
Re-Opening of Online Filling of Examination Application Form for Chartered Accountants Examinations, November 2024. ICAI vide notification dated 15th April 2024 had decided has decided that from May/June 2024 onwards, Intermediate & Foundation course Examinations will be held thrice in a year in the month of May/June, September and January from the existing practice of twice a year.
Accordingly the application window for applying online for the September 2024 Chartered Accountants Intermediate and Foundation examinations was shortened from 28 days to 17 days in order to accommodate the exam dates for the said examinations thrice a year and to adhere to timelines for various examination processes. The same timeline for opening and closing of examination application window was also made applicable to Chartered Accountants Final and PQC examinations scheduled to be held in November 2024.
Vide announcement dated 18th July 2024 ICAI made announcement of Chartered Accountants Final and PQC November 2024 exams to provide them sufficient time and opportunity to apply online well in advance.
ICAI has made an announcement today that in view of the fact that this shortening of timeline from 28 days to 17 days, being the first such instance for Chartered Accountants Final and PQC examinations and request received from the students regarding the same, it has been decided to re-open the online filling of examination application form for Chartered Accountants Final and Post Qualification Course viz.: Insurance and Risk Management (IRM) Technical Examination and International Taxation – Assessment Test (INTT-AT) for 2 (Two Days) from 11th September 2024 (11.00 AM) to 12th September 2024 (11.59 PM) with late fees (Rs.600/- or US$10) for the benefit of the students as a one- time measure and as a special case only.
The announcement states that students may also note that this timeline of 17 days for filling of online examination application form will be applicable for all forthcoming Chartered Accountants examinations and it is expected from the students to strictly adhere to the timelines of filling of examination application form.
