(CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS)

No.29-CA/Law/D-338/2017.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 20 of The Chartered Accountants Act, 1949 read with Regulation 18 of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988, it is hereby notified by the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India that the Hon’ble High Court of Allahabad has, in pursuance of Section 21(6)(c) of the said Act, in Referred Case No. 1/2014, ordered on 2nd August, 2017 that the name of Shri Satish Kumar Gupta, Chartered Accountant, 1, Navyug Market, 2nd Floor, Ghaziabad- 201001 (M.No. 070260) be removed from the Register of Members for a period of three months for having been found guilty of “Other Misconduct” falling under Section 22 read with Section 21 of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949. Accordingly, it is hereby notified that the name of the said Shri Satish Kumar Gupta shall stand removed from the Register of Members for a period of three months from 01.12.2017 to 28.02.2018. During the aforesaid period he shall not practise as a Chartered Accountant in terms of the said order of the Hon’ble High Court of Allahabad.

No.29-CA/LAW/D-69, 82/2017.—In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-Section (2) of Section 20 of The Chartered Accountants Act, 1949 read with Regulation 18 of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988, it is hereby notified by the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India that the Hon’ble High Court of Allahabad has, in pursuance to Section 21(6)(c) of the said Act, in Chartered Accountant Reference Nos. 1 of 1999 ordered on 25th April, 2017 that the name of Shri D.K. Agarwal, 46-A, Madhav Kunj, Pratap Nagar, Agra- 282010 (M.No.016535) be removed from the register of members for a period of five years for having been found guilty of “Other Misconduct” falling under Section 22 read with Section 21 of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949. It is further notified by the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India that the Hon’ble High Court of Allahabad has in another case, in pursuance to Section 21(6)(c) of the said Act, in Chartered Accountant Reference Nos. 2 of 1999 ordered on 28th September, 2017 that the name of Shri D.K. Agarwal, 46-A, Madhav Kunj, Pratap Nagar, Agra- 282010 (M.No.016535) be removed from the register of members permanently for having been found guilty of “Other Misconduct” falling under Section 22 read with Section 21 of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949. In view of the above, it is notified that the name of Shri D. K. Agarwal shall stand removed permanently from the register of members from the date of publication of this notification.
