CBDT promotes 94 officers to the grade of Principal Commissioner of Income Tax (PrCIT)
CBDT has issued order no.68 of 2021 dated 19th March 2021 promoting 94 officers to to the grade of Principal Commissioner of Income Tax (PrCIT) level 15 in the pay matrix Rs. 182200-224100 on in-situ basis with immediate effect.
Out of 94 promotions, 2 relates to Panel Year 2018 and 92 are related to Panel Year 2019

- Amendment in due dates for filing ITR and time limit of revised return under Income Tax Act 2025
- No changes propsoed in Section 87A Rebate for AY 2027-28 (FY 2026-27) in Budget-2026-27
