CBDT promotes 94 officers to the grade of Principal Commissioner of Income Tax (PrCIT)
CBDT has issued order no.68 of 2021 dated 19th March 2021 promoting 94 officers to to the grade of Principal Commissioner of Income Tax (PrCIT) level 15 in the pay matrix Rs. 182200-224100 on in-situ basis with immediate effect.
Out of 94 promotions, 2 relates to Panel Year 2018 and 92 are related to Panel Year 2019
- Sales duly recorded in books & VAT returns, can’t be held bogus without cogent adverse material
- ITAT allows Diwali expenses incurred by assessee as business expenses
- Section 292BB does not bar assessee to raise objection for non issuance of notice u/s 143(2) – SC
- Supreme Court explains expression “reason to believe” & “change of opinion” in Income Tax Act 1961
- Omission of rule 96(10) of CGST Rules will be effective retrospectively from 23.10.2017
