Coffee Table Book on Income Tax Department
Income Tax Department is proposing to take out a coffee table book on Income Tax Department titled as “The journey so far”. It is proposed to include remarkable, archival pictures, documents which narrate the journey of the Income tax Department and are part of its landmark history in the above coffee table book. Such material may be for example, very old notice of archival value, jurisdiction order, penalty order, photographs, events, heritage buildings, any .artifact which may have historical value or which is otherwise interesting and important.
Directorate of Income Tax (TPS-I) has written a communication to all Principal Chief Commissioners of Income Tax requesting that if any officer wish to share any such material may mail to it that it may be made part of the collection.
