ICAI online survey on the State of the Internal Audit Profession in India. The formal Survey Report will be made available on ICAI website
Internal Audit Standards Board (IASB) of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has invited chartered accountants participate in an online survey on the State of the Internal Audit Profession in India
The Survey consist of 7 sections as under:
Preliminary Information (12 fields)
Section 2- Questionnaire for Professionals in Practice (8 Questions)
Section 3- Questionnaire for Professionals in Industry (11 Questions)
Section 4- Current Scenario of Internal Audit in India (11 Questions)
Section 5- Future Scenario of Internal Audit in India (7 Questions)
Section 6- Expectations from ICAI (5 Questions)
Section 7- Miscellaneous/ Others (4 Questions)
Members have to select / mark one of the options given or give their own views wherever required.

As per ICAI announcement, the purpose of this online survey is to measure the pulse of the Internal Audit profession in India by reaching out to all professionals serving in both, industry and practice, to fully understand the current and anticipated future state of the profession from all perspectives.
The response to the survey can be submitted online by 15th December 2018.
It has been stated that a detailed analysis of the submissions and findings through a formal Survey Report will be made available on ICAI website. Also, the ICAI will be making an evaluation of the current and anticipated scenario, to develop its action plans which would provide a sound basis to help move the profession forward in a highly focused and effective manner.
