The President of India is pleased to appoint Ms. Rani Singh Nair, IRS(IT:1979) as Chairperson , Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) in the Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance in the pay scale of Rs. 80000/- (fixed) with the status of Special Secretary to the Government of India with effect from 01.08.2016 (FN) and until further orders or her superannuation, whichever is earlier.
