ICAI set up branch in Tonk District (Rajasthan) with effect from April 25, 2024.
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has set up a Branch of Central India Regional Council (CIRC) in Tonk District (Rajasthan) with effect from April 25, 2024.
The Branch shall be known as Tonk District Branch of Central India Regional Council and its Headquarters shall be at Tonk.
The Jurisdiction of the Branch besides the following Places shall cover whole District of Tonk: –
1. Tonk
2. Deoli
3. Dooni
4. Malpura
5. Newai
6. Peeplu
7. Todarisingh
8. Uniara
9. Nagarfort
As prescribed under sub-regulation (3) of Regulation 159, the Branch shall function subject to the control, supervision and directions of the Council of ICAI through Central India Regional Council
- It is surprising that Postal and Income Tax Department have not been integrated -HC
- Income Tax cracks down on bogus claims of deductions & exemptions claimed in ITR
- Order u/s 263 without mentioning Section AO should have made addition quashed
- No penalty u/s 271E or 271D without recording satisfaction in assessment order
- Deduction allowed u/s 48 of housing loan interest paid over & above claimed u/s 24(b)
